2 full days in Budapest to me is enough, same with Prague as what you want to see there is in a relatively small area. Vienna is my favourite if the 3 and you can get a nice taste of it in 3 days. My biggest issue with the itenerary is that these 3 cities are quite similar with Vienna just being several degrees nicer.

Two days in Prague. We have a free stopover in Prague around the end of September 2017 on the way home from a trip to Italy. We will have two full days in Prague, not counting arrival (we fly in around 7 pm the night before) or departure (departing early morning after 2 days there). We have not been to Prague before. Prague Itinerary: Day 1. Start your first day in the city by visiting Prague Old Town (Staré Město). Walk through the quintessentially European alleyways, explore the labyrinth streets, and make your way to the Old Town Square, where you can see various architectural styles coming together. It takes 20 minutes depending on traffic and cost €45. Book your transfers in Vienna. City Airport Train: The train from Vienna airport to the city centre takes 16 minutes. The train runs from the airport to the city centre every day from 6:09 AM to 11:39 PM every 30 minutes.

So much to see and do especially if you don't want to rush things. If it gets too much for you, you can always plan a day trip out of Prague, but I doubt it will.
